Maritime on Tour brings Liverpool’s rich seafaring history directly into your classroom. Through hands-on activities, original artefacts, and storytelling, students discover the city’s global connections, migration stories, and the people whose lives were shaped by the sea. Linking to history, geography, and literacy, the sessions connect local heritage to wider world events.

Our On Tour sessions bring museum learning directly into schools and community spaces. Led by our expert educators, they use real objects, stories, and activities to bring subjects to life without needing to travel.
We offer sessions linked to history, citizenship, geography, literacy, and PSHE, tailored for primary, secondary, and post-16 learners.
Just a suitable classroom or hall space for the session. Our team will bring all resources and materials needed.
