Some people speak english (the ski instructors, some shop keepers and cafe/bar staff) but mostly not, so students had plenty of practice speaking French. Incredible scenery and geography in action. Fabulous skiing. Pistes of different levels are generally clustered around the main resort, which is compact and easy to navigate for the students.

The hotel was not a ideal venue. the location was excellent, breakfast and lunch were also very good. Evening meals were not hugely kid friendly. However the bar on the ground floor could be noisy and stayed open quite late. The bar caused a fire alarm at 11:50pm one evening, this caused a full evacuation of the hotel, the response from the hotel was disappointing. The tour company did do a very good job responding to this the following day.
