Leeson House is a residential field studies and outdoor education centre located in Langton Matravers, near Swanage, Dorset, in the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The centre is based in a secluded Grade II listed mansion surrounded by approximately seven acres of grounds, providing an inspiring environment for learning and exploration.
For more than 50 years, Leeson House has welcomed school groups from Dorset and across the UK, offering tailor-made programmes for primary, secondary and A-Level students. Its location provides access to a wide range of renowned geography, geology and biology fieldwork sites, while the extensive grounds support outdoor education, environmental studies and team-building activities.
The centre can accommodate up to 80 students and accompanying staff in comfortable residential accommodation and offers full-board catering, teaching facilities, and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces.

Kind and friendly staff, really great welcome. Experienced and well organised tutor who really taught the students well and built a great rapport with them. Overall, a really positive experience, which is definitely a trip they will remember!
